Hi, I'm Adrienne!

I'm a somatic specialist who helps wellness seekers improve brain-body connections through movement, to recover health and resilience, especially after life's curve balls. 

I'm a musical performing artist at heart and a movement specialist by training. I've toured internationally as a rock drummer and entertained at presidential inauguration balls. 

But more relevant to you, I've been a somatic movement teacher for over two decades, working with people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities.

I specialize in a revolutionary method called Neuromovement, a scientifically proven brain-based approach to healing and human development.

Nowadays, I offer learning programs through my online studio, Moovy, helping wellness seekers overcome pain, recover movement freedom, and enjoy more vitality and higher levels of performance.

Why I created this...

Years ago, I was a yoga teacher seeking help for my own chronic back pain.  I started as a NeuroMovement student before I became a practitioner. Not only did I quickly recover from my own pain patterns, but my whole life changed. 

Since then, as a professional NeuroMovementⓇ practitioner, I’ve worked with countless students of all ages and diverse abilities using the neuroplastic principles and movement tools I've learned. 

Some were already highly skilled. And some were facing the most extreme challenges.

I’ve witnessed over and again that providing the human brain with opportunities to reorganize itself through movement learning (instead of just doing movements) is the key to activating spontaneous neuroplastic brain change.

Developmental leaps, freedom from pain, recovering from traumas, restoring mobility, and improving artistic and athletic performance are all outcomes that I witness daily as a result of this way of upgrading brain function.  It's quite literally life-giving

And I see it as a glaring missing link in the brain and body health conversation. 

That's why I wanted to make these movement practices and principles easily accessible to people who aren't getting the help they want and need.
