Hi, I’m Adrienne

I know what it feels like to hold it all together—until you can’t. To push through pain and exhaustion because you think you should be able to do everything. To wake up stiff, scattered, and wondering if this is just what aging feels like now.

That was me.

I was a yoga teacher and performing artist stuck in a long cycle of chronic back and foot pain. I tried all the things: yoga, massage, bodywork, —but nothing created real change.

Then I discovered NeuroMovement®. And everything shifted. Not just my pain, but how I moved, thought, and felt in my life.

Today, after more than two decades as movement teacher and NeuroMovement® Practitioner, I’ve guided hundreds of people—many just like you—into a sense of greater ease, empowerment, and possibility.

Not by fixing. Not by forcing. But by helping their brains, through gentle intelligent movement, learn how to organize movement, emotion and thinking in a new way—one that creates meaningful, felt, sustainable change.

Why I Created UNA

Over the years, I watched the NeuroMovement® process change lives—quietly, profoundly, and consistently. In private lessons and group work, I saw people free patterns they’d held for decades, discover movements they thought were lost or impossible, make new choices, and awaken to a new sense of vitality. I have also witnessed people stuck in years of needless suffering (like I was!)

That’s when I realized: this approach is too powerful to keep tucked away in studios and clinics.

I created UNA to share this life-changing process with more people, especially those who don’t have access to a practitioner, or who want something more accessible and flexible. 

This isn’t a mass-market trend. It’s something unique. Something quietly powerful. Passed globally between professionals, shared by word of mouth, and rooted in deep care.

My back continues to feel much better. The chronic ache in my lower spine has finally disappeared.

My attention has improved immensely. I am grateful for the expanded freedom in movement.

I have also definitely noticed an improvement in my mental well being. A certain optimism has taken hold which I have been lacking lately.

I have become more mentally flexible, which has really reduced stress in my life. As I let go of self expectation I also let go of expectation for and of others. This is huge for me!!!

 I wake up more ready to get out of bed and move, with less dread of pain from initial movement/walking.

Being able to pull myself up to sitting: revolutionary. Not only for my body and health, but for all movement practices previously taught. Wow!

 

There is a shift happening in my mind, I feel more open to doing the things I regard as chores or duties with more willingness rather than a sense of burden. My sister even noticed this.

Something I have noticed in every lesson is my motion getting more fluid and less jerky or ratchety after doing the lesson. I move smoother, with almost a velvety quality.

I had been taking 2 Advil every day after my daily walk which made me feel exhausted. No Advil today and no pain and exhaustion after my walk. I will be coming back to these lessons often.
