About MoovyStudio
A different way to move.
A different way to age.
A different way to feel at home in yourself again.
I created Moovy Studio for women who want more ease—not more workouts or more pressure to “fix” themselves.
Here, the movement is gentle and intelligent. It helps you feel better without pushing or forcing.
And if it feels like your body is aging faster than your spirit, you’re not falling apart.
You just haven’t been shown another way yet.
You’re ready for an approach that works with your whole system, instead of fighting it.
"Movement is the language of the brain."
-Anat Baniel
Why Movement?
Movement is how the brain learns. It’s how we develop, adapt, and keep growing at every age. Neuroscience shows the brain stays plastic for life—and learning through movement is one of the most effective ways to activate that plasticity. It's also a powerful way to upgrade the function of your brain.
The NeuroMovement® Method, developed by Anat Baniel and rooted in Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais’s work, brings this science into daily life. Through gentle, varied movements, we give your nervous system the information it needs to improve your coordination—how all the parts of you work in harmony together.
This isn’t exercise.
It’s education.
You’re not forcing your body; you’re giving your system a better way to move.
This is the MoovyStudio Difference
- Brain-Based Approach — grounded in the NeuroMovement® Method and modern neuroscience.
- Gentle & Accessible — safe and effective for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Whole-System Change — addressing the physical, emotional, and cognitive dimensions of stress.
-
From Managing to Transforming — moving beyond symptom relief into real, sustainable change.
Hi, I’m Adrienne.
Founder of Moovy® Studio | NeuroMovement® Practitioner | Lifelong student of the brain–body connection
I grew up in a family of women—strong, large-and-in-charge women who carried the weight of everything: work, children, households, expectations. They held so much, often without the support or space to feel themselves fully.
As the oldest child, my role was to assist, and also to observe. I watched how women move through the world, how they hold it all, and how that weight shows up in their bodies. Those early skills—paying attention, sensing what’s unsaid, noticing the quiet strain under the surface—are exactly what I teach you to do for yourself inside Moovy Studio.
So when I opened my clinical practice years later, it made perfect sense that it was women who found their way to me.
Women navigating tension, pain, reinvention, and midlife change.
Women who were tired, hopeful, curious, and ready for something different.
I always knew I wanted to help people, but I didn’t realize at first that it would be women who needed my help most—because their struggles felt so familiar. So lived. So close to home.
Moovy Studio grew from that same lineage: a safe, intelligent, nourishing place for women to meet themselves where they are—and grow from there.
My Story
I didn’t set out to build an online studio — I set out to heal.
For a decade, I was a yoga teacher dealing with chronic back and foot pain. I tried everything: PT, massage, strength training, more yoga. Some things helped briefly, but nothing changed how I actually moved through life.
I felt trapped in my body.
Then I discovered the NeuroMovement® Method—and everything shifted.
I realized my pain wasn’t caused by “bad posture” or weak muscles. It was the result of years of bracing against stress, holding myself together, and never really learning how to let go.
My nervous system had been organizing me around survival — brilliantly, but no longer in a way that served me.
Once I understood this, I became free.
My artistic background shaped this journey as well. Before my clinical work, I was a composer, musician, and performing artist—working with sound, rhythm, and expression. That lens taught me to see the body not as mechanics to be fixed, but as a living, creative instrument capable of improvisation, fluidity, and possibility.
When I began teaching this work, I saw how quickly transformation was possible. People who had been stuck for years were moving with ease again—sometimes in a single session.
That’s when I knew this work couldn’t stay confined to my local practice.
It needed to be accessible to anyone, anywhere.
MoovyStudio grew from that vision.
